一、招聘岗位及工作地点

二、岗位职责

1. 负责期刊整体出版流程管理,确保稿件处理高效、规范;

2. 协调作者、审稿人、编委和出版方之间的沟通,推进稿件评审、修改和出版;

3. 协助主编策划期刊内容,关注保护生物学领域的研究前沿,推进专刊组织与选题发布;

4. 管理期刊宣传渠道(包括社交媒体),组织推广活动以提升期刊影响力;

5. 跟踪期刊表现指标,持续优化编辑政策与服务质量;

6. 参与期刊日常运营、流程制度建设及其他相关事务。

三、应聘条件

1. 拥有生态学、植物学、生物学或相关专业硕士及以上学历,博士优先;

2. 英语读写流利,具备良好的英文沟通能力与写作能力,能作为工作语言使用;

3. SCI期刊论文发表经历者优先;

4. 具有学术出版、学术编辑或科研管理相关工作经验者优先;

5. 具备良好的沟通协调能力、组织管理能力和团队合作精神。

四、薪资待遇

聘用人员的薪资待遇参照国家、中国科学院及版纳植物园相关规定,根据个人学历和经验综合确定,缴纳五险一金,具体面议。

Recruitment Notice for Managing Editor of Integrative Conservation

Integrative Conservation is a young academic journal that promotes an integrative approach to biodiversity conservation. It is published by the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG),Chinese Academy of Sciences,in collaboration with Wiley.The journal welcomes contributions with clear relevance to the theory,practice,or policy of biodiversity conservation. It covers a broad range of sub-disciplines within conservation science and is open to work on all taxa,biomes,and geographic regions.

Integrative Conservation is an open-access journal with no publication fees (at least until 3036). To further enhance the academic quality and international visibility of Integrative Conservation,Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG),Chinese Academy of Sciences,is now publicly recruiting one Managing Editor. The position will be administered by the Centre for Integrative Conservation. We welcome outstanding candidates with a background in biology,ecology,or related disciplines who are interested in academic publishing to join our team.


I. Position and Workplace

1. Position: Managing Editor (1 position)

2. Employment Type: Project-based employment (non-permanent staff)

3. Work Location: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden,CAS (Menglun,Mengla County,Xishuangbanna,Yunnan Province,China)

II. Job Responsibilities

1. Manage the journal’s overall editorial and production workflows to ensure efficient and standardized manuscript handling;

2. Coordinate communication among authors,reviewers,editorial board members,and the publisher to facilitate the peer-review,revision,and publication process;

3. Assist the Editor-in-Chief in content planning,stay informed on the latest developments in conservation biology,and help organize special issues and thematic calls for papers;

4. Manage journal outreach and promotion via social media and other channels to increase the journal’s visibility and impact;

5. Track journal performance metrics and continuously improve editorial policies and author services;

6. Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the journal and help develop editorial workflows and related systems.

III. Qualifications

1. A Master’s degree or above in ecology,botany,biology,or related fields;a PhD is preferred;

2. Excellent English reading,writing,and communication skills,with the ability to use English as the working language;

3. Prior publication of articles in SCI-indexed journals is preferred;

4. Experience in academic publishing,editorial work,or scientific research administration is an advantage;

5. Strong communication,coordination,organizational,and teamwork skills.

IV. Compensation and Benefits

Salary and benefits will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience,in accordance with the relevant policies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,the state,and XTBG. Standard social insurance and housing fund contributions will be provided. Specific terms are negotiable.

3. Qualification Review

5. Medical Examination and Background Check
Candidates recommended for hire must undergo a medical examination (following the standards for civil servants) and a background check covering political integrity,moral character,professional competence,and performance.
