Invasion Ecology and Utilization Technology Group was set up in May 2018 under the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The group is dedicated to the research about the ecology of alien invasive plants and utilization technology. Currently, the primary research interests of this group are the invasion mechanisms of alien plants, their impacts on local ecosystems, and the technologies of effective prevention and utilization. Recently, the primary research contents are as follows: (1) the relationship between climate change and the invasion of alien plants, (2) the role of soil microbes in alien plant invasion, (3) the impacts of alien plant invasion on local ecosystems, (4) the technology of prevention of alien plants, (5) ecological utilization of alien plants, (6) resource utilization of alien plants.
