Biological Invasive Ecology Group was set up in May 2018 under the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The group is committed to the research on the ecology of alien invasive plants. At present, the main research interests of the group are the invasion mechanism of alien invasive plants, the impact of alien invasive plants on local ecosystems, and the differences in the resistance of different ecosystems to alien invasive plants. The main research contents are as follows: (1) Relationship between kin recognition, kin competition and invasion (2) The influence of climate change on alien plant invasion (3) Resource fluctuation and alien plant invasion (4) The evolutionary response of native plants to alien plant invasion, etc.
