研究方向:

植物的叶片形态具有丰富的多样性,它是如何发育成特定形态结构的,以及在演化过程中是否具有保守或者特定的调控机制,一直以来都是植物科学家十分关注的热点科学问题。早在2300年前,古希腊生物学家、植物学之父Theophrastus就关注到种子植物中千姿百态的复叶形态。植物复叶发育一直是植物发育生物学和进化生物学家的研究热点。目前的研究聚焦在大豆、豌豆、鹰嘴豆和苜蓿等重要豆科模式植物和作物,通过正向和反向遗传学,结合发育、细胞、分子、生化、组学、基因工程、植物活体成像以及进化分析等研究手段,解析不同复叶形态的发育和分子调控机制,希望为揭示植物复叶形态多样性的分子机制和演化过程做出更深入的贡献;同时,通过解析作物关键农艺性状的遗传基础,获得丰富的基因资源,结合基因编辑应用到育种中,为农作物品种改良提供更可靠的科学依据。
