In accordance with the safety directives issued by the Student Affairs Department of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences on September 24, 2026, and the institutional holiday arrangements of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden , the following guidelines are issued to ensure student safety, laboratory security, and orderly campus management during the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.
I. Holiday and Workday Schedule
1. Mid-Autumn Festival: September 25 (Friday) – September 27 (Sunday), 2026 (3 days).
2. National Day: October 1 (Thursday) – October 7 (Wednesday), 2026 (7 days).
3. Working Days and Adjustments: September 28 (Monday) to September 30 (Wednesday) are regular working days. All on-campus graduate students are required to conduct normal study and research. October 10 (Saturday) is a mandatory working and study day (Note: the prior adjustment on September 20 has concluded).
4. Students in Coursework: First-year graduate students attending courses at UCAS campuses (Yanqihu/Yuquanlu) or joint universities must follow the teaching schedules of their respective host institutions and are exempt from this campus registration.
II. Travel Registration and Leave Procedures
1. Mandatory Itinerary Registration: All graduate students stationed at XTBG (including senior master's and doctoral students, joint-program students, international students, and visiting students) must complete the '2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Travel Tracker' (Online form: https://docs.qq.com/form/page/DSUd3R0pya3h4c3dG) by 18:00, September 24, 2026. Supervisors must keep track of student locations and maintain reliable communication throughout the break.
2. Strict Leave Approval for Extensions: Any absence exceeding the official dates (including early departures, delayed returns, or requesting leave for September 28–30 to bridge both breaks) requires prior written approval. Students must obtain their supervisor's and Lab/Center Director's signatures on the Leave Application Form (see Attachment) before leaving campus. Hard copies should be submitted to the Graduate Education Office (Headquarters at Menglun or Kunming Division); email digital copies to yanjiusheng@xtbg.ac.cn.
