个人简介:Pollination and seed dispersal are two critical processes in plant reproduction and population dispersal. Studying how plants pollinate and disperse seeds can help us to better understand plant and animal interactions. Mistletoes, a group of aerial hemiparasitic plants, about 1,600 species, including host-generalist and host-specialist plants. They are highly dependent not only on host plants for water and minerals, but also on biotic vectors for pollination and seed dispersal by birds attracted to their plentiful nectar and fleshy fruits. I am interested in the host-generalist mistletoe to understand biangular or triangular relationship of “hosts-mistletoe-birds” system in Xishuangbanna, Southwestern China.
